Statistics: Russia’s inflation at zero in July 30–Monday
MOSCOW, Aug 7 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation was registered at zero from July 30 through Monday after a 0.1% deflation a week before, and reached 2.7% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
In the reported week, prices for eggs rose 1.5%, for millet 1.2%, for mutton and processed rice 0.4%, for butter 0.3%, for beef, cooked sausage, frozen fish, heat-treated milk, fatty cottage cheese, bread and chocolates 0.2%.
Sugar prices fell 0.4%.
Fruit and vegetable prices decreased 2% on average.
Gasoline and diesel fuel prices remained flat on the week.
